Celebrating Medway Culture Fest 24

We love all the work we have done with Medway (see Creative Medway and Medway Change Makers) to help promote its creative and culture offerings, so were chuffed when we were approached to bring to life Medway Culture Fest 24.

The brief was simple, but vast all at the same time. Create an eye-catching and engaging ‘umbrella brand’ for a year of cultural activity, that was also consistent with the existing Creative Medway brand. Easy peasy… right?

As usual our process began with a client briefing session, and we put forward three concepts that were then honed into the final route. The chosen concept centred around the ‘Medway Culture Fest 24’ logo lock-up, which not only had its own clear identity, but could be used alongside partner logos very easily.

From here, we utilised some of the Creative Medway brand colours, and formed new versions of the patterns to ensure that Medway Culture Fest 24 looked like part of the same family. Imagery was also important in telling the story, and we were lucky to have an amazing suite of real Medway photography to complement our brand.

The team then got to work on rolling out the Medway Culture Fest 24 brand across collateral such as social graphics, cover photos, pull-up banners, and its very own page on the Creative Medway website.

We’re really happy with how the new identity turned out, and it’s been great to see it out and about across Medway!
