We have a long-standing relationship with HSBC, working across many divisions of the bank on projects that touch almost all our services.

As part of this, we regularly support HSBC on their event activations, from small retail pop-ups, all the way to large-scale global exhibitions.

The Brief

On this occasion, we were tasked with designing and building a bespoke stand (whilst adhering to HSBC guidelines) within a 6x6m space-only area at Eurofinance 2023, Barcelona.

The aim: to achieve a strong presence at the incredibly busy 2.5-day show, along with providing a comfortable and engaging key meetings and conversations to over 2,250 senior-level Treasury professionals.

The Solution

We aligned the design of the stand with the current campaigns, guidelines, and values of HSBC, with a focus on sustainability through the use of wooden materials and green touches. The real stars of the show were the 1m high by 6m wide screens we had wrapping all four sides of the stand (that’s 24-metres of video screen!), ensuring the stand could be seen far and wide across the show. They also gave us prime real estate to communicate HSBC campaign messaging, as well as promoting upcoming speakers at the show.

To ensure there was plenty of room for meetings, extra pods were built into the stand itself, alongside the table and chair areas. We hired a popular on-stand barista to serve coffees and espresso martinis each day, helping to warm up the conversations, alongside branded items, and promotional giveaways. As an extra touch, our development team build a bespoke meeting scheduling and local info tool, accessed via handheld iPads on the stand.

We’re pleased to say that the stand was one of the busiest and most impactful stands at the event! And all of this was built within the incredibly tight timeframe of just 16 hours, with the help of our good friends at CEI Exhibitions!
